HTC Media Link HD Wireless HDMI Adaptor - HD H200 priced at

From what I understand yes. HTC has decided to use a proprietary way of connecting to the TV rather than using DLNA as they say it is better....however I guess it is more to do with the extra

It may well work but obviously you would need to plug your phone into the TV whereas the HTC adapter streams wirelessly

Have a look at the One X's apps for an app 'Connected Media'.

If your TV has DLNA ability and is reachable by WiFi you might stream the contents of your (stock) gallery to your TV with 'Connected Media' :)

EDIT: By the way, this cable from Amazon won't work with the One X.
You might look for a MHL adapter to connect the phone's microUSB to your TV's HDMI.
I use a MHL from Samsung (about

I was wondering if anyone has connected there One X to HDTV yet? Did it perform seamlessly and what resolution did it output? Does it perform full mirroring? Can stream Netflix, Hulu, and other streaming video services to your HDTV? I am hearing on other devices Hulu locked out the hdmi port. Is this true for the One X?
Thanks in advance.

Re the fill mirroring, I'm not sure unfortunately, sorry. I'll have to do a bit of digging, but if it works the same way as my mates sensation via mini HDMI, yes it's full mirroring.

I'm not sure about the other stuff (resolution, the streaming video). I'll drop my mate a text, see what he says and let you know.

Unless Harry2 (who has the cable) gets in there before me. :)

As suggested by El Presidente I have connected the MHL cable to my One X :)

But I also can only report about mirroring.

The One's display is just mirrored on the TV like the Sensation.
One difference, the One goes in landscape (like in desktop dock mode) and remains so until disconnecting the MHL cable.

The One's "Media Link HD" can't be used with the MHL cable, I think it is only to use with the HTC wireless HDMI.
And with this wireless HDMI it will be interesting to test the One :)

About Hulu I can't report, I don't stream from internet video services on my phone :)

I RV a lot while vacationing and quality/ease of being able to stream video wired/wirelessly is important for me. The Landscape mode on the One X appears to have very polished UI. I did not know the HOX did that when connected to a TV. (Thanks Mods and Members on the FYI)

I do have another question for TV's that don't come equipped with DNLA is there an adapter/dongel a person can purchas? Finally is some sort of hardware that needs to be purchased to use HTC Media Link?
ONE X with Media Link HD - YouTube

I seen one other video with what appears to be a HTC USB thumb drive adapter for wireless video streaming and wondering if this is required? I'll have to find the video again and post here later.
Thanks in advance for any information Mods/Members can provide.

I am hoping someone might have experince with this adapter and be able to clarify this for me. The video is a bit vague. Does the adapter in the video just plug into the hdmi port of TV and does this allow me to stream wirelessly from the phone? Skip straight to 58sec mark to see what mean. Finally @1:44sec I did not know you can surf the web on the phone and still stream media to TV simultaneously. Was this a prototype thing? Does the retail version still do this? Thanks in advance.

HTC One X hands on - YouTube

In my previous post I mentioned about an HTC adapter that looked like a thumb drive. Please accept my apologies for being a noob. I guess it's a Bluetooth device for a cardock, but if anyone can tell me if this will stream audio will watching video would be helpful in my current RV setup. I think this would be helpful to stream video via MHL/hdmi out and BT audio to built-in surround sound. Is this possible? Once again apologies for all the question and your advice is greatly appreciative.

The hardware for to use the One's HTC Media Link HD is this wireless HDMI adapter HTC DG H200 that madonna mentioned for thread starting.

With this adapter the TV doesn't need to have DLNA ability, just a HDMI port.

The adapter seems to do the same as the MHL cable on the One X ... and seems to do some more :) (stream viedos on the TV while on the phone you look at your email ?)

I've ordered the wireless HDMI adapter :)
but I've to wait a few weeks for delivery :(

Tried to stream to the TV using a Sony SMP100 media player. Despite having DLNA playback and the phone recognising the media player it was unable to play any files.
Any ideas on whether this is a setting or incompatability issue?
