Help Connection lost when trying to upgrade firmware (KIES)

Every time I try to update my Galaxy S through Kies (big orange button) the phone disconnects and Kies loses connection.

I have the latest version of Kies installed (2.0.3.11082_152) on Windows 7 64-bit.

Anyone else experienced this? I tried re-installing and even on a different PC (with Vista).

Happens most of the time. Keep trying it again and again and it should eventually work.
