Help Connection Problem

Hello everyone, I just bought HTC Tattoo with Android 1.6.
Every time I connect PC (Window), in USB mode, it tells me "Unknown Device", how do I fix this?

did all the software & drivers install correctly? this happened to me also.. i just re-installed it all again, restarted my PC then it worked

you'll have a disk with "HTC Sync" software on it, install it. otherwise download this software from HTC's site
