Connects but no Internet

Tab S connects to mifi, to iBoost, to hotspot. But in all cases no internet.
Was working fine. Went out for 2 hours, left Tab on but screen off. On return still connected but no internet.
Rebooted everything. Tried date/time thing.
What happened in those 2 hours? Desperate plea for help.

If your Tab is getting a valid IP address from those different sources but you're not able to access anything online try this simple test. In your browser instead of typing in google.com type in Google's numerical IP address instead:
http://74.125.224.72
If Google's search page comes up it sounds like the DNS numbers on your Tab need correcting. Try installing a basic DNS changing app like this one, it has a nice listing of several public DNS numbers:

Thanks svim. I'll note that for next time because now, for some inexplicable reason, I seem to be back up and running normally.
