Contact Backup

I'm about to switch android devices and would like to back up my contacts. What would be the easiest way of doing this?

I currently have a Devour with MOTOBLUR but I do not think my new device will have MOTOBLUR.

I believe all your contacts should be automatically backed up to your Google account, so you shouldn't have to worry about it.

To be safe, however, you can go to your Contacts screen, hit the menu button, and then go to Import/Export to export them to a file on your SD card, which you can import to your new phone later. I don't know how different Motoblur is, but that's how it works on my Moto Droid, at least. You should be able to do something similar if not exactly that.
