Help Contact Birthdays incorrect

Hi there

I've done a few searches and haven't found anything conclusive.
I just bought a Galaxy s3 and have an issue with my contacts.

I am using Microsoft exchange email and I noticed that birthdays for my contacts are all a day ahead on my galaxy compared to what they are on my outlook contacts.

So Bobby's birthday is 26 June but on my phone it says 25 June.
What is causing this and how can I fix it?

I have an HTC Desire HD running Android 2.3.5 and I have noticed this issue on my phone as well. I suspect it's an Android bug and nothing to do with the S3. I'm in the UK, so maybe it's specific to the user's time zone. I had rather hoped that it had been sorted out in ICS!

I am in GMT +2 (Norway) and I am not having this problem with HTC One X, HTC One S or HTC Desire.
I just got a Samsung Tab 2 10.1, and got the exact same problem as I do with the S3. This must be a Samsung problem. I have reported this problem to Samsung Norway, and are waiting for their reply.
I am using Microsoft Office365 (Exchange in the cloud)

I have testet some different things today;
#1 Deleted Exchange on the phone and added it again without any changes.
#2 Deleted the event in the calendar and changed the year on my contacts. Same problem. (birthays are updatet on the contacts in Exchange)

John has birthday 22. july, and it shows up on 21. with start 23:00 and end 22. at 23:00
It is one hour wrong.
The strange thing is that I also have some contacts that are OK. I have checked them, and they have for some reason GMT -5. I am suposed to have GMT +2, and those that are wrong are having GMT +2.
All new birthdays that I add will get GMT +2 automaticly.

Are you storing your contacts in your phone address book or is it pulling it from another addressbook like Yahoos or something?

I am using Exchange, so all mail, contacts and calendar events are syncronized with the Exchange-server.
But, it works perfect on all my HTC devices. I am pretty sure this is a Samsung problem.

I had the same problem and I noticed that there were couple of contacts that had correct birthdates and they were those contacts that were with out last name, only first name in use.
But that may be a coincidence.

Hi.I have the same problem. At synchronization of contacts there is a change of date of birth with 22 on 21. I see it in record of contact and in a calendar of the mobile phone. When calendar I are synchronized I receive birthday which begins 22 and comes to an end 23.
As a result in my calendar John the alcoholic who celebrates the birthday 3 days in a row.

Do you have resolve this problem? I am synchronization my contact with gmail contact and gmail contact synchronization with mobile phone. Its work.
