I just spent a bit of time manually copying/pasting my contact list from Microsoft's "Myphone" service (they have no export option...), creating a spreadsheet, saving it in CSV format, and importing it into Gmail's Contacts. Wasn't as bad as I thought it would be and I'm in good shape so far.
I have a few text messages from phone # 937xxxxxxx, 937yyyyyyy, and so on. In my People list, for one of the entries, their info looks like 937-xxx-xxxx and the phone doesn't match them together. As a test, I edited the "yyy" entry's phone #, on the Google side and sync'd, to be the same format, i.e. no hypens, and it still isn't matching them up.
What's wrong ? How do I fix this ?
