Help Contact Photos - Where did they go?

First, I'm new to Android (and effing LOVE it - goodbye iPhone).

With that being said, I just noticed that the small contact thumbnails seemed to have disappeared from my contact list this morning. They were all the ones pulled from facebook, and I still have FB syncing, but about 95% of the photos are gone. Anyone else having this problem?

It happens occasionally. We had it on the Hero forum, turned out to be the Facebook servers I think. It should right itself.

Day 2 - still no photos. Went to FB app and changed setting from "Friends on Phone" to "All Friends." Then cleared ALL contacts from phone (google & FB), and added them back. I seem to have more photos showing now, but it's still below 20%. As already stated, I'm guessing this is a FB server issue. Being new to Android, I was thinking the google contact info was ranked (for lack of better term) higher than FB info, and was using the google photo (none) as the default.
