COntact pics in messaging

That's not how it works. You won't get a FB contact pic to display in a text message, unless you add the pic to the contact. Most phones text messaging feature don't have that option - unless you installed a third part message application from the Google Play market.
You will need to check in with the other users of this device over at your device's area of support, they most likely would be better able to assist you further.
