Contacts and Facebook issue.

I clicked on Messages to send a text the other day.
I noticed that my list included ALL OF MY FACEBOOK FRIENDS.

Why is that? I did not want that to happen.
I went to accounts/sync and cut it off.

Now, a couple of my friends names do not show up with they call. Only the number.
It is really weird. They are still listed as a contact.

What is going on here?

First off, I think it's safe to turn sync back on, it's a nice feature. Now, to fix your issue of ALL your FB friends showing in your contacts, is actually a cinch.

Open the 'People' app on your phone. Tap the phones menu button and select 'View'. In the View Contacts option window tap the check box for 'Only with phone number' and wullah, your contact list is now a phone contact list.

I know about that trick.. and tried it.
All the contacts were not listed in the phone list. It was only for messages.
I did not see that option under messages.
I will cut it back on and try again though.
