Contacts.db

Hiii
I have the contacts.db file and need to transform it to vcf file please, any ideas please ?
I have tried many ways but they are too complicated and not efficient, thank you.

If you have a rooted phone of the same model and android version that the contacts.db file came from you can copy it into the correct location on that device (after backing up its current contacts) and the phone will use it as its contacts. Then you can use the contacts app to export it to .vcf.

You won't be able to do that without root, and I'd not recommend doing it with a different model (there may be manufacturer- or version-specific features).

I'm assuming here that this is a copy of the contacts.db file taken from the /data/data area of an android phone. If it's any other type of file that happens to have the name contacts.db then all I can say is "go back to the app that created it".

Can you tell us why you want to do that? I ask because there may be a different way to reach your goal.

Also, please let us know which device(s) you're using and their Android versions.
