My wife and I both have Droid Eris. We both have the People Widget. I have selected her mobile number as a favorite and I selected her messaging as another favorite. She has two listings in the People widget, one has a shortcut to her mobile number and the other has a shortcut to text message her.
Here's the problem: On her phone, when she selects a person from the contact list to save as a favorite, it will not be available to select again. She only has one choice to save that contact as a favorite AND choose only to have a phone number or texting for that person.
I tested to see if I could do the same for other contacts and I can. My brother is listed as a favorite for his mobile number. I can touch the "+" icon on the widget and select him again but choose text messaging for him.
When you select the "+" on her people widget, any of the people already listed in the people widget does not show up in the contacts list. Both our phones have google contacts.
Any ideas?
