I don't think this is specifically an S7 issue, it could just be a Samsung issue, so mods, please move if necessary.
I'm trying to figure out how to have a specific contact show up in Samsung's Message and VZW's Message+
For example. I have separate contacts (mom, brother, SIL, bf) but I also have their numbers in my ICE contact. Before I moved to the S7, in Message/+, it would show me their individual names/photos. Once I moved over to the S7, I see only ICE for all their messages (I can't tell who I'm texting unless I open it up and look at the number). Very irritating.
I thought this happened at some point with my S5, but it got fixed some how. So far, the only way I've been able to fix it is to delete the ICE contact. I prefer not to, just so it's in there and easily accessible (the built in ICE feature is down a lot of levels, stupid if you ask me).
Thoughts? Work arounds?
