Contacts issue

On my S5 my contacts initially had all my Facebook friends in my contacts which I didn't want. Fortunately I could go into the settings & disable Facebook contacts from showing up. Now I find that on my N5 they have been merged with my Google contacts and I can't figure out how to get rid of them from my contacts list with manually deleting them one by one. I'm not a happy camper about this as I've got over 300 fb friends which is going to mean a lot of time to delete them. Can anyone she'd light on why this is the case and how I can fix it?
 
Maybe a setting in the fb app itself can prevent your "friends" from showing up in your contacts?
I dunno,I don't fb,just a suggestion...............................
 
If you go to settings in your contacts list you can select which contacts so show... I just show the Google ones. I still get the contact pic from Facebook but it only shows only my contacts
