Help Contacts made on phone seem to be deleting themselves?

I don't think I've had this problem before.
I don't think I've done anything differently.
basically the contacts that I make on my phone seem to get deleted when I sync over wifi (I have no data plan)

any fix for this?

fixed my own problem,
seems I have to make sure I sync the contacts before I shut the phone off
