contacts on the sim card

[Android Question]

I have just got a samsung fame on vodafone. The shop put my sim into it and all my contacts are saved on the sim BUT I cant edit them and add more details or a contact picture. I cannot find a way of re-saving the contacts onto the phone (where it seems i have options to add other tele numbers, address etc). any ideas please?

Hi

If you open contacts then press menu button there should be an import/export potion which will let you copy contacts from sim into the phone memory
