Contacts+ Problem

Lurker
My wife has an Acer A110 tablet with Jellybean v4.1.2 and the latest Contacts+ (v3.30.10). She can receive, reply, compose and send emails so we known the app is installed and working. However, she is unable to enter any names and email addresses in contacts. When she opens the menu and hits the + tab she receives the following message: "no application found for this action".
Can someone advise what the problem may be?
Thanks,
Dave

Before doing anything else, hopefully you have saved your contacts to your, Google account. You should also export them as a .vcf file for backup.

Go to Settings > Apps > Contacts + and tap on Clear cache. See if Contacts + works OK now.

If not, Clear cache again, reboot the phone and try it again.

If not, Clear cache, tap Clear data, uninstall/reinstall Contacts + reboot the phone and try again.

If not, Clear cache and data, uninstall Contacts + and use the stock contacts app or find another contacts app. Or, maybe the Contacts + developer can help.
