Content blocking for Google Now

Hello all, I own a Nexus 5 with KitKat. I am trying to fully block adult content from this device. I have found apps on the play store such as comvigo browswer that allows content filtering as well as locking apps as you please.

However, I haven't found a way to lock down Google Now/Google search bar (probably because of the way it's built into the UI).

Has anyone found a solution for this?

Can you do it via Google Dashboard? That allows some control. I use Dashboard on the PC, so I'm not sure what it would show if you use the mobile version.
