Content lock password

I recently did a master reset. After a week, I went to look at my locked pics in my gallery. I entered the correct password but it keeps telling me it's wrong. How do I access them??
 
What were you using to lock parts of your gallery? After the reset it might have reset the password to that app as well. You may need to set it up again.
 
Ah. well that could be a problem. If the folders were locked with an encrypted password, when you factory reset the phone you generated a new encryption key which won't match what's on your SD card. I'm not sure how you might be able to get at your photos now. Hopefully someone else has an idea.
