continuing a video

I have an evo and noticed that if i am watching a video, pause it check my email and go back to the video, it starts from the beginning. is there a way to configure the player to start where i left off?

It sort of depends on the video player. I know Meridian has this feature.

I am using the default player that the evo came with.
