Continuous notification alerts

I always get angry when I know that I have receive a msg and I didnt check.... I just wanted to stop my notifications alert..
 
You can either put your phone on silent, that way you don't know you got a message until you check your phone, or long press on the notification, press on the info icon and select off for notifications

when I put my phone on silent then I can't take my calls cause of silent..... and I also do the long press on notification but the info icon is not coming...
