Can anyone help me with this problem? Or is there a way to trade in for a data plan compatible one?

Yeah no more than 250 to 300Just to clarify, keep in mind that WiFi and cellular (mobile data) are two distinct ways to get online access. They're not interchangeable and are both independent from the other, and each utilize different hardware inside your tablet as both rely on different types on wireless signals. There isn't a way to 'convert' a WiFi only tablet to also use cellular, again its a hardware issue. Looking up the Tab E online there are two different models -- one WiFi only and the other WiFi and 3G. I would think you might want to just think about a different tablet model, that has WiFi/4G/LTE. Do you have a rough price range in mind?
That's a pretty good price point. Take a look at this Wirecutter article on tablets. Even if their recommended choice isn't to your liking they go into detail about what criteria they use to make their choices. Worth reading through to make an informed decision on what to get that meets your own needs.Yeah no more than 250 to 300
