Convert Apple TV Box?

I have an old 1st generation Apple TV that I am no longer using.

Is it possible to re-purpose this device by reformatting it and installing Android on it and using it as an Android based TV box? If so, please point me to instuctions on how. Thanks

Not possible unfortunately.

For the most part, you can't install anything other than Apple software on apple devices.

There were hacks to install older versions of Android on first and second gen iPhones, but that's as far as Android on an apple device goes.
