Am going to England and need to know if I need to buy anything other than the 3 prong converter for 240 voltage in England?

As long as your charger is compatible with the 240V 50 Hz AC, that should be enough.
I'm assuming that you've checked your phone is compatible with the networks here (any GSM phone will have at least 2G compatibility, if on a CDMA network you need a "world phone").
