I've been spending some time lately with a Coocher CH-080 Bluetooth Speaker as my main Audio/Video entertainment enhancer. While not the loudest Bluetooth portable speakers around the sound is clear and crisp at all levels. It's really designed more as an on the desk/table top type device than a carry around and mount anywhere system.
The simple controls consist of an on and off switch on the back and a nice shiny volume control knob dead center on the unit.
As mentioned this is a Bluetooth device but a short male to male audio cable is included for those times when you don't want to use Bluetooth or NFC to connect, there is a short USB cable for charging your unit.
Battery life has been amazing. It seems that once you have it fully charged (the blue ring in the pictures also acts as a charge indicator) it can last for days at a time with moderate use. I use it about 3-4 hours each day at work and seldom bother to connect it to the charging port on the nearby computer.
The only thing I don't like about this speaker is the way the volume control works. That nice shiny knob spins round and round with no starting or ending place. The only way you know you've reached maximum volume is a busy signal type beep. While not a deal breaker it can be kind of annoying not knowing just how loud the speaker will be when you plug it in.
If you're on a budget but still want to enjoy some quality sound this is definitely a speaker to consider. I'll be glad to answer any questions about this device if you're interested.
