Copy app to another phone?

I have a calendar app on my Samsung tablet and I would like to transfer it to my Samsung J7 phone. Nowhere on the app can I find its name and I can't find it on Google Play either. I tried Samsung's Smart Switch app. It doesn't transfer individual app so I told it to transfer all apps from the tablet to the phone. The Smart Switch app said that it transferred the all okay but I still don't see it on the J7. Help Please.

You are certain this isn't the built-in calendar app on your tablet? Smart Switch won't be able to transfer a system app like that.

You should be able to find the app name in the app's own settings, or from the list of recently used apps (if your tablet has that in it's Settings > Apps menu, which might be called App Manager on a Samsung).

Or go old school and write down your activity, then buzz up your calender app, then type in everything. That might help you out.

Here I go again, breathing life into a dead thread.

You need to extract the apk of the app, and then send it to the other device.
Since it is a built in app, it may or may not be compatible with the new device.
