Copy Home screen, Folders and Icons setting to new phone

Hi, Is there a way to use smart switch via wifi to copy my home screen, folders, icons and phone setting to my new phone?

I can't use the usb connector on my old phone. I transfered my data, photos, emails and apps with smart switch via wifi but the home screen page and folders did not copy to new phone. I'm also wondering if my other phone settings have transfered to the new phone. Both phones are note 4.
thanks

Hi Maj,

If your USB connector is broken then Phil's suggestion of using an SD card to transfer the files between phones would be your only non root option and not all of your data will be available. If, of course, if you are willing to root your phone (and I'll admit to saying that I am not) it would be possible to backup the complete internal storage and simply load it onto the new phone.

However, it is not all that expensive to replace the USB port of your phone. When this is done you can use an app like Helium to transfer app data from one phone to the other (without root).

Good luck...

Regards,
Eric.

Hi, as Eric says above rooting is the way to go really, I rooted my phone in order to to do a complete backup and remove the bloatware, it is very easy to do and just as easy to unroot it. Phil
