Help Copy & Paste Images App

I know that stock Android does not have copy/paste image functionality like Windows or IOS as there is no 'Copy' function when long pressing on an image which I find rediculous.

I understand that there may be an app that has this functionality. I looked in the Play Store and didn't really see anything. I saw a lot of cut and paste image apps where you edit the image. I don't want to cut or edit the image. I just want to copy an entire image and paste it somewhere else. That's it.

Could someone recommend an app I could get in order to perform a simple copy & paste of images?
Thanks.

Brian

Where exactly do you want to copy from and paste in? I personally haven't had any issues but I tend to download the photo from Chrome and just insert it where I wanted to paste it.

Anyway, I haven't tried it but Microsoft Clip Layer for Android claims to allow you to copy and paste from anywhere, so you may want to check it out.

I blog at a fairly unknown blog called Blogster which I access through Chrome. When I reply to a comment, I want to copy the avatar image from the comments I'm replying to and paste it into my reply comments. Works fine in Windows. I would also like to copy an image from a different web site and paste it into another web site.

You don't need an app, other than chrome. Long press on the image and you should get this popup...if not, update chrome from the play store.

By the way, all three of my Android are Samsung devices are on Android 6.0.1 and exhibit the same behavior. I went out to the Play Store to make sure I have the latest version of Chrome and I do. I then went to the same web site you were on and performed a long press on one of the images and didn't get the same pop-up. The options on the popup screen vary by web site in Chrome.

Here is the popup screen when I long press an image in the blog I mentioned using Chrome. As you can see, there are a lot more options available than when I did a long press on the site you used.

I can download the image to my phone or tablet and I can upload it to my blog but then I can't copy the image into comments as I would need to perform a copy/paste through the clipboard to do it. The blog has an option to copy the image into a new post without using copy/paste. I can also upload images into a new post through the blog'site functionality.

I can't do it in Facebook either. I can share an image to Facebook which places it in a new post but I can't copy/paste an image into comments. This is using the Facebook Android app.

This is why I was looking for an app that could copy/paste like Windows does. I find it hard to believe that stock Android can't do this. I could never replace a Windows device with an Android device if I can't copy/paste images.

Interestingly, I was just on Facebook and on long pressing the comment, one of the options that came out was clipboard. If I select that, some of the options to paste were my screenshots.

Anyway, does your blog support url tags? You could use that to insert images into your replies, just like what forums like these do.
