Copying "stock" ringtones from a phone

Is it possible to locate and then copy the ringtones that come with a phone so as to transfer them to another? In this case specifically, I was wondering if it were possible to copy the ringtones that come with the Virgin Mobile Samsung Intercept to use on the LG Optimus V.

Ringtones should be placed in /system/media/audio/ringtones folder, just navigate there (using Astro file manager, Ghost Commander, ES FIle Manager or any other filemanager) and copy them to sdcard.
