Corporate discounts

I get a corporate discount on my Verizon bill thru the company I work for. I have always gotten an Access discount on the voice plan and a Feature discount on my unlimited 3G data.

When my sister was upgrading to the Rezound the in store rep told me I shouldn't be getting the Feature discount on data because it was an error in the system, and has been corrected on new discounted accounts.

Has anyone heard or experienced this, and will I loose my data discount when I upgrade to unlimited 4G data?

I get a discount for both voice and data, I also get a discount for anything else I buy at VZW, and a car charger for no cost when I upgrade my primary line.

3G vs 4G is irrelevant when it comes to employee discounts.

2gig/$30 data plans are not eligible for any discounts.

Unlimited data plans are still eligible for discounts but there are conditions.

• The employee data discount must be negotiated into your employers agreement with VZW. Some companies don't get a data discount at all.
• Only one unlimited data plan is eligible for a discount if you are on family share.
• Non-family share lines are eligible for discounts on unlimited data plans.

There are additional one off exceptions but the above list probably covers 99.5% of customers

This sounds correct based on my experience. My wife gets a corp discount. It applies to the plan and the data package on her phone only. Mine and our daughters phones and data packages.... no discount. We also get a 25% discount on accesories bought at the Verizon store.

Thanks! So it sounds like I'll keep my discount when I upgrade. I didn't tell the guy at Verizon any specifics (who I work for), so I should be good to go.
