Help Corrupted ROM

My RCA Pro 10 tablet seems to be corrupted following an official firmware upgrade, it just goes straight to to recovery menu each time. I factory reset and cleared the cache to no avail. I tried img files from

via adb but both the recovery and boot abort instantly. Any help would be appreciated.

Is it possible for me to create some kind of working ROM with the system.tar file and possibly boot.img and recovery.img files?

I'd have thought you'd use fastboot to flash images, not adb.

> fastboot flash <partition> <image>

e.g.

> fastboot flash recovery recovery.img

As for the ROM itself, it depends what's in that tar file (I'm guessing there's images in it).
