Help Corrupted SD card

HI guys, i have a samsung galaxy ace and a sandisk 4 gb memory card!
yesterday while i was in a hurry to change the sim, i removed the battery without switching the phone off. when i put the new sim and switched it on , it said sd card is blank or has unsupported file system!
i have all my important photos, music and other files in it! :(
any help would be appreciated!
thanks in advance!

Fat32 is the default filesystem for the sdcard which has no journaling support.

So it seems your timing was very unlucky when pulling out the battery and have corrupted the card. Now it may be possible to recover it if filesystem utiliities exist for android or on a windows machine using a hdd filesystem recovery app.

I tried the chkdsk thing but the error i get is "they type of file system if RAW, chkdsk is not available for raw drives. then i tries downloading a software for raw file recovery but when i run the software, it is not able to detect the card reader :(
