Help Could case be contributing to overheating issues?

Just wondering if my case is adding to the overheating problem.. My lg g3 tends to lag when it gets over the 3 digit range(avg app) ... Cache clear, auto brightness set... I have a spigen slim armor case. Co worker has exact phone no case less overheating issues.....

Of course a case will always cause a device to run hotter. How much hotter and whether it's enough to really matter depends on the case, device and usage. Pop the case off and see what happens.
