Hi all, I have a Droid x2 currently running 2.3.4 that is proving to be very difficult to root. I'll provide the back story...
I was once able to root the phone on 2.3.4 using Pete's one-click method. Then I stupidly flashed eclipse v2.3 before updating to 2.3.5. I flashed my backup but lost root when doing so. I wound up factory reseting, figuring I'd just start from scratch again. Every method I've tries to root now has failed. I've used gingerbread for 2.3.5, the one click again, and have had no success
Along the way I've used RSD Lite multiple times, factory reset including reformatting the SD card, basically everything I've come across with no luck. Also, I can't OTA now (not sure why not).
Do you have any advice? I just want to try out some ROMs! Thanks in advance!
