Over all, I dislike my Droid Eris. It has the shortest battery and is slow. Is it possible for me to somehow get the Droid X when it becomes available?
 
I kind of tried to do that when I was on the phone with VZ yesterday regarding a technical issue. I didn't press too hard but I need to wait until my annual is due in November... :(
 
you can get ANY phone you wish, at full retail. as far as getting it for a discount due to your dissatisfaction with your current device? doubtfull unless you have has multiple refurbs with the same issue(and that being a hardware issue, not simply performance) and then call and do some serious b**ching....
 
Verizon did say that if you are up for an upgrade any time this year you can get the Droid X at the 2-year agreement price.
