Couldn't Save Contacts

I am not able to save or update any contact in my phone which is One Plus 3.
I am not sure how to proceed further without this.
Its very pathetic to not to be able to save new contacts .

Let em know the solution for this issue.

I have tried with reboot and restarting of this phone.

Sign in to Google and click on the square dots menu in the upper right corner with a PC.
find Contacts and link it with your phone.

on the Phone, install Google Contacts and you will not have anymore troubles.

I was told to 'automate' syncing within your Account settings.
This had always worked for me,,,, until recently - but I have a fault.

Is there a reason that a third party app is required ?
