Couple of Q's about GOSMS

Hi All

I have a couple of Q's about GOSMS.

I've notice recently (maybe since the last update?) that when i open a sms it automatically opens the keyboard.
Is there a setting that will stop that?

Is there a way to save a template such as a quick reply or a standard birthday text?

Menu>settings>appearance settings>conversation other settings>(uncheck the option)
