I am looking to buy a 4g enabled phone because my droid 3 is 3g, and is my sole internet provider. I cannot upgrade because I do not want to lose my unlimited data through verizon.
1. If i meet the person at a verizon dealer, have them check the phone for clean ESN, and buy it, is there no way past that point for the seller to pull some dick move and report it stolen or such? or go deliquent on payments and kill the ESN on the phone?
2. Is there any reason a seller shouldnt give me the ESN of their phone so that I can check it myself? people dont seem to want to and i dont understand why.
3. any other helps when buying a used phone, I know to check for cracks/water damage.
thanks guys, much appreciated.
