that I cant seem to find the answers to. First, does having the BLuetooth "On", but not connected to a bluetooth device impact batery life. Second, same thing about having WiFi on, and not connected. If this has already been asked/answered, please give the link, as I havent been able to find the threads.

Yes, Bluetooth ON will impact your battery life, alot. WiFi, not as much, in my experience.

You might try setting up a Smart Action to limit bluetooth use for when you need it, as an example, in the car?

I have a Smart Action called HOME that turns off bluetooth and mobile data when I am at home, and relies on WiFi. This can be triggered by your GPS location of your home, or by recognizing your home WiFi network.

WiFi on and not connected does indeed decrease battery life. I that's because it is searching for wifi to connect to, any time you have another radio turned on your battery life will be lower, that's why with 4g phones the life is generally lower
