Coverage and actual speeds in Southern California?

Hi folks...I'll be moving back to the L.A. area soon, and wondered what kind of actual performance people are getting out of the HSPA+, etc. network out there in terms of coverage and speeds? The G2 with the 1500 minute plan is looking more interesting for my needs all the time. Thanks in advance.

I have a G2 and live in orange county. Coverage here is spotty as eff. Whenever I drive through LA I get some strong 4G, around 6mbps. But some places I only get edge and 80kbps. So tmobile here is pretty hit or miss. But when it hits, man its good.

I have the G2..I live in palm springs..the internet speed is awesome
