Coverage

For calling coverage I think so, it's not bad as is.

For 3G it depends where you live, in the LA area, VM's 3G is unusable.

I had Sprint before going to VM and there is a big difference in the Dallas area. I often cannot send or receive calls or texts. The other night I couldn't receive a MMS from a friend (small picture) for several hours. Had to be in a different area with Sprint towers nearby to get it. Not happy with the coverage but you get what you pay for....

so it's not the same as Sprint's 3G or does Sprint suck there too?
IDK about Sprint 3G vs VM 3G, however I would NOT be surprised if VM users get sloppy seconds when it comes to sharing Sprint's data pie, afterall Sprint users got roaming dibs :(

VM's dumping of Androids over BF have lots to do with the slow dnload as more phones vying for same data.
