CPU overheating

Every since updated to 6.0 my lg g stylo CPU heats up extremely fast. It's not the battery because I have extra one and it happens on both. I use clean master and even take the battery out for a couple of hours. But less than an hour it starting heating up again.

It's the marshmallow update. Had the same issue apparently it brings your minimum CPU to around 700mhz which causes the phone to be hot. Switched back to Katana and my phone stopped get hot.

I did go back and the issue was not resolved. I don't think there is a solution as of right now.
Sucks that this phone has heating problems

Clear the cache partition. That's the first thing that should be done after an OTA update as major as Marshmallow.
