CPU Tuner?

i rooted my motorola triumph and i want to make it faster and save alot of battery because juice defender isnt working as good anymore. the problem is that i have no idea how to use cpu tuner at all what so ever. im lost can someone help me out i havent got the slightest clue on how to work this app

Your kernal needs to support overclocking... just being rooted isn't enough. For what you are looking to do, I suggest SetCPU. I am running it on both of my Android devices. Here is a link to the user guide, to help you decide if this is something you would like to try: http://www.setcpu.com/
