Cracked Moto X screen; where best to get fixed?

it appears that Motorola no longer offers the one-time 'free' cracked screen fix, so...before i send it off to them for repair (@ $175), i thought i'd check for alternate solutions?

any other sources for this fix, or should i just bit the bullet and send it to them?

If I were you I would look to find the parts and do it your self unless you still have warranty. If so send it to Motorola or call them they may be able to get you a new phone discount for the 2013 model.

yes, i can send it to motorola for fixing ($175). was hoping there was a cheaper alternative. i'm not sure i wanna tackle fixing it myself. i've viewed the fix videos/pix several times, but i dunno...just not sure i wanna do it.

and the warranty doesn't cover cracked screens....unfortunately.

But if you get it done by any other then Motorola you won't have any remaining warranty. Best option would be Motorola to keep the remaining warranty.
