I've not used it in an age (I seem to remember it being pretty good), but it looks as though crackle was updated today with Chromecast support.

Slow interface, absolutely Mickey Mouse player controls.

Did I mention that the interface is slow and Mickey Mouse.

Struggling through watching The Company.

Video / audio sync - just too much for poor Sony to sort out.

I must confess, I've not had much time to install and have a play about.

Shame, there's some decent free content on there from what I can remember.

Crackle tips -

Don't reenter the app from the status bar, it takes forever to get back to the player controls. Use the multitasking recall apps list instead.

That's essential as the ads are much louder than the program material.

Also, I found a simple way to not be bugged by the voices being out of sync - watch a Godzilla flick.

Luckily, I happen to like Godzilla. :rofl:
