create tasks in gmail app

I can see how I create a task from an email inside the gmail web version, but not on the app, which I use most of the time.

Can anyone tell me how to do that?

Tap on left side menu button. Now go to settings>general> tap on Auto advance Now enable task. Create task

Can't find that option... This is what it looks like to me.

Can you help me?

  1. View the list of existing tasks. Tap the circle next to a task to mark it as complete.
  2. Tap the Add a new task button at the bottom of the screen to add tasks.
  3. Use the menus at the bottom of the screen to create and name additional lists, to rename or delete a list, or to delete all the completed tasks

Does this create a task from an email? Or is this just the regular way of creating a new task?

What I need is a button inside the Gmail app which is a one click way to create a task in the Tasks app incl. a link to the email
