how to create a vlc video playlist on my android tablet

Almost seven years since this post. I've tried a variety of search terms via Google and can't find instructions for creating a playlist on VLC for Android. Anyone have a link or instructions? Thanks for any help!

From the article, it appears the feature has been there since June 21, 2016...

Why should this be such a problem when an app like Playlist Player Movie Media is able to create and play video playlists without a hitch. Also there should be an option to allow playlists created on the desktop version of VLC to be played on Andoid.
