Creating desktop shortcuts for default music player playlists?

I want to be able to launch a playlist on on my phone without starting the music player and fishing through tabs etc using a desktop shortcut. If it can't be done with the default music player or some hack, could you recommend a player that allows that. Thanks.

Though I'm not 100% sure of the source (it could be Blur, or it could be ADW which I use as my homescreen in place of Blur), there's a shortcut that allows me to place a 1x1 icon on my homescreen to that links directly to the playlist. Shortcuts can be found by pressing down and holding on an empty spot on your homescreen until you get a popup menu. Choose shortcuts, and scroll down to see if you have a playlist option. If not, try downloading and using ADW to see if it adds anything to that list.

This is another post that gives me ideas for features for BlueMuze.

It's always annoyed me the way the default player handled playlists. It cant launch from an m3u, and doesnt support m3u8 or pls....

If I ever add something like that I will be sure to dig up this post heh.
