I'm posting here on behalf of the company I work for, we need your help.
We are about to conduct some user testing, and need the ability to display animated images on a phone or something that looks like a phone (preferably with a screen size between 3.5" and 4.0").
These animated images will be in Flash, and should be the only visible object on the screen.
If you feel you can help, please read on,
Ideas we've considered:
- VNC remote desktop viewer linked to iPod Touch (play image on the desktop in a certain area the iPod is told to display). The idea is sound, but their are technical issues related to the company's IT policy making it unfeasible.
- Finding a small display with video input, maybe a small USB monitor. We're failing here.
- Special app for the Ipod Touch / iPhone that would give us a work-around. We're failing here.
- Buy an Android-based phone, and use a Flash-player app, since Android has better Flash support. We just don't have enough Android knowledge.
Other notes:
-We need the ability to switch from one image to the next at our own command, with relative ease.
-It is OK to have the device attached to a cable at all times
