Unlike most, I'm "decently" patient and decided to wait for cupcake to get to my phone via the air.
I just received the update at approximately 3:38AM EST. I say approximately because I checked my phone at around 3:14 AM EST for an email, then the phone went off again at 3:38 AM EST right as I was dozing off and it was a spam email from matchmaker.com (I'm married) and when I entered my unlock code there was the update waiting for me.
For confirmation I will upload pics, I'm not sure if the firmware versions are different between OTA and the downloadable manual update so here they are:
Firmware version: 1.5
Baseband version: 62.50S.20.17H_2.22.19.26I
Kernel version: 2.6.27-00393-g6607056 san@android #1
Build number: CRB43
To clarify a few things: I'm in the US in Richmond Indiana. I have my wifes white G1 right next to me and hers has not received the update (to kill the speculation on region, ect)
Will upload pics shortly, The blue lettered android glow is AWESOME looking. Trying to confirm if my OTA version numbers are different from downloadable upgrade, Please let me know.
